Joe Brown is a filmmaker and Assistant Professor of Digital Media based at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI.
Brown’s work focuses on social issues and the natural environment. He teaches a variety of video production courses at Marquette, and also runs the Great Lakes Environmental Film Festival (GLEFF). Brown’s documentary work has screened across the country at venues such as: the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival; the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival; MKE Film; the Birmingham Sidewalk Festival; and the Dallas International Film Festival. Brown also currently serves as the Vice President of the University Film & Video Association (UFVA).
