Sandra Whitehead is a journalist, author and educator. She teaches a variety of journalism classes, including international reporting, and is engaged in developing internationally collaborative media education for her students.
Her research interests include literary journalism, international reporting, intercultural and peace communication, and digital media literacy. She is back at Marquette after teaching in Lebanon for seven years at Rafik Hariri University, where she was also chair of the Language and Humanities Department.
